For this prototype I experimented with how to add a unique spin on classic strategy game mechanics.
You have your classic workers (in this case merchants) that drive the economy but are unable to do
combat, and your soldiers that will fight to protect you.
I tried making micromanaging units very easy in this prototype. Merchants automatically move between your city
and a designated trading post, while soldiers are grouped by rally points.
To add an extra layer of depth to the game, I added a mechanic where you switch between different music stances:
gold, healing and damage. You can just leave it on one stance if you want, but to beat the more
difficult levels, you'll need to switch to the right stance at the right time.
